Burger with Vacherin Fribourgeois AOP
Simple, melting, comforting… and better than any fast food.

brioche buns

beef patties

red onion

generous slices of Vacherin Fribourgeois AOP
100 g
button mushrooms

shallot
1 tbsp
butter
250 ml
full cream
Salt and pepper
Stages

Caramelised onions: finely slice the onion and gently cook it in a little butter until soft and lightly golden.

Sauce: sauté the chopped shallot and sliced mushrooms. Add the cream at the end of cooking, season with salt and pepper, then set aside.

Cooking the patties: grill the beef patties in a frying pan. Towards the end, place a slice of Vacherin Fribourgeois AOP on each patty and cover briefly to let it melt.

Assembly: lightly toast the buns. Add a layer of rocket, the caramelised onions, the cheese-covered patty and a spoonful of sauce. Close and enjoy while hot.
